• Get inspired, (Look through photo’s on Pinterest) pick a theme, color and what type of décor elements you want to incorporate in the ceremony and reception areas
• Speak with your planner about what kind of vendors you want for your wedding. (Catering, Cake Artist, Entertainment, Florist, Transportation, Officiant, Photo & Video, Invitations, Hair & Make up, DJ, etc. It’s important to start booking vendors to secure the date
• Take engagement photos
• Start looking for a wedding dress, bridesmaids’ and groom/groomsmen’s attire, including veil, shoes and jewelry

10 Months Prior

• Book hotels for out-of-town guests
• Send out save the date invitations
• Start designing your invitations
• Start researching your honeymoon – Are passports valid?

4- 8 Months Prior

• Send save the dates
• Taste test wedding cake
• Buy your wedding attire
• Register for gifts if necessary
• Order favors
• Finalize the catering menu
• Plan Bachelorette / Bachelor Party!
• Schedule fittings for bridesmaids and groomsmen
• Order rental items, linen, furniture, draping, etc.
• Buy wedding bands
• Hair and Makeup trial

1-3 Months Prior

• Menu Tasting
• Create a floor plan
• Order guest favors
• Finalizing payments
• Following up with each vendor on timelines
• Rehearsal Dinner Plans
• Marriage license
• Final venue walkthrough
• Purchase bridal party gifts
• Selected music for ceremony and reception – first dances, grand entrances, etc.
• Write vows

Day of:

• Eat Breakfast (At least try!)
• Relax, have a glass of champagne, and get ready with hair and makeup
• Say ‘I do!’
